Dude, there was 100+ spams today. Ridiculous! I'm all for any measure you need to take (short of closing the forum).

Hold out for the next round of MBPs if you go laptop. Mines been in the shop 11 days now. On it's 2nd trip to Applecare no less. To top it all of, my non-pro Macbook has started exhibiting random shutdowns now too. Apple did the transition in 210 days, but I think some QC got overlooked along the way. I really hope this is not a trend for Apple.
