Ya know, that's what I thought it might be and I installed it but after install it still didn't play. I hate to fall back on the obligatory WinBlows routine of having to restart after installing but I have yet to restart since the install of Divx. Could this be affecting it, or being a self-contained app (which had been closed after the failed test in question), is this irrelevant? Don't repsond yet, I'll restart when my workload that I'm already dedicated to is finished (Some animation rendering in the background that I am FAR too far along in to quit at this point) and let you know...
